Over the past several years Abigail has been finishing her masters, teaching at the university level, and working on her novels, which means she has had less opportunity to submit her shorter work for publication. Abigail is currently in the editing stages of two novels and in search of representation for publishing.
My latest story, "Red Push Pin," was published in the Silk Road Review. It's about a mother and son on the run from an abusive husband and father, with the whole story taking place inside their minivan and using vignettes to tell their story.
This short story is about a future dystopia where over population is a problem and death is being marketed as the "responsible choice" for old people. Annie has to come to terms with her grandmother's choice to be done with this life.
This flash fiction is about a mother and daughter working together to bake cupcakes for a party. Both are slightly obsessive in their behavior, but despite it all, admire one another.
During a comic class at FSU, I wrote three comics. This is the first to come out of my collaborative efforts. I did the script and all the speech bubbles for all my comics. I wrote "Last Leviathan" and "Seven Strikes"
